Gothic Bite Magazine always welcomes amazing authors & poets on their website! This week, we have the pleasure to interview, Michelle Gallagher!
Who is Michelle Gallagher?
I am a poet and mom of three from Sacramento, California. I love science, especially astrophysics and I often bring that scientific language into my poetry. I like the juxtaposition of visceral imagery and emotion.
I own the most Nine Inch Nails band T-shirts on the western seaboard. I play WoW, For the Horde! and Netflix is my boyfriend. I studied Psychology, Thanatology and Astronomy and I think it reflects in my writing.
For the month of April, Gothic Bite Magazine is celebrating the character of Sandman. A mystical character that worked its way into the paranormal world. Here is a poem about the sand throwing man.
He is coming through the dilapidated alley Slowly he’s coming to your window and watches the prey. And if you look at his gaze you will fall in never land For he will feed your eyes with his fearsome dreadful sand. Shhhh here comes the Sandman.
In this social media era and indie author world, it is hard
for writers to make their brand stay and it’s even harder to get noticed.
However, there’s a place on Facebook where one can!
Likes, Join & Follows
Have you noticed how hard it is nowadays to get a “Like” on Facebook or get someone to “Join” your FB group or even “Follow” your page? It is quite hard as an indie author, artist, musician and any independent profession.
That’s because of the algorithm factor. Facebook has now
paid advertisement, and that is hurting many of us independent and freelance
people. Not only does Facebook hide promotional posts from “Professional Pages”
they also hide the indie community when they pay for advertisement favorizing
those who pay more.
Gothic Bite Magazine is now opening their gates to all authors who would enjoy sharing their work with the public. We welcome all writers, from the enthusiasts to the professionals. Continue reading Ghost Story Sunday
Gothic Bite Magazine has many surprises in store for you in October, and one of them is a printed and digital issue available on Amazon!
Legends & Folklore
You read right. Gothic Bite Magazine has a treat for readers in time for Halloween!
Going back to the beginning, Gothic Bite Magazine was only a dream of mine and nothing more. Now, it’s getting more real with every day going by, and I’m feeling the pressure of wanting to make it more perfect than the month before.

As one of the interviewers at GBM, I get the privilege of learning about new people that I haven’t met before. Learning about their perspectives on life and how they view the world.
A fantastic author has agreed to sit down with me this morning and talk about her book series which you can find on Amazon.com and her positions on some hot-button issues. So I have to say first off. Thank you so much, Sariah Skye, for sitting down with myself and GBM.
For a very short time, I lived in a haunted house. It was my family’s home. It was the place of my dreams. I had an enormous bedroom all my friends were envious about. It was the most beautiful house because my grandpa built it.
I was raised by my maternal grandparents. My mom still going to college when she had me, was greatly helped by them. And so, here is the story of the haunted house I grew up in.
This month Rev. Dr. Aramond S. VanRahamdalph DD. sat down with our beloved Corinth Noctem Aeternus, for a one on one interview. Rev. Dr. VanRahamdalph.
