I’m Mandi Konesni, a paranormal romance author. I’ve always been a “jack of all trades” crafty person. Soaps and toiletries? Okay! Jewelry? Hey, why not? Drawing? Eh, I’ll give it a shot, even if I could mangle a stick person. My first love, however, has always been writing.

Sarasota artist, Charlotte Jordan was born in Michigan. As a child, she moved to England for six years and lived on the dramatically beautiful Exmoor in the South West of England. Being surrounded by natural elements and animals, gave her a passion for drawing.

Her love of art was nurtured during high school art classes, where she developed her creative style.

I’m from St. Louis, Missouri, but I have lived and traveled most of the United States. I went to London last year and was inspired to spin more tales. It was a trip of a lifetime. I would love to go there again.

I fell in love with horror and gothic tales when I was five and saw Vincent Price recite The Raven. At nine, I read Stephen King’s Pet Sematary, confirming to my mom that I was just as weird as the rest of the family. My love of this genre doesn’t come from the joy of being scared.
