Living The Goth Life At Thirty-Five

We often hear growing up that we are going through a phase. We hear that nothing is the end of the world. But some found their paths young.

An Unusual Childhood

Living the Goth life at thirty-five years old is not easy. Growing up, I was in many different courses, all the arts you can think about and even model. Like most children of my age, I also watched the Walt Disney movies reborn from the 90s. The Lion King was my favorite…it dealt with death.

Because my grandparents raised me, my view of life was different than others. I grew up Catholic/Christian and went to church every Sunday. I was in the choir and the church group. I participated in extra curriculum activity the group had in association with my school.

My Obsession

Hotel Transylvania goes Canadian and I’m proud! When I first watched Hotel Transylvania, I quickly fell in love with the story even though 3D is not my cup of tea.

Holiday Mavis

Last year, I started drawing Mavis from Hotel Transylvania in a holiday sweater from the day after American Thanksgiving to January 2nd.

Obsession turn to Tradition

This year, I decided to turn it into a tradition and do it every year. So, welcome to the second year of Holiday Mavis!

Last year Hotel Transylvania The Series came out, and when I decided to give it a try, I realized how much I related to Mavis. I’m anything but average, I’m clumsy with everything I do.

We know how to make them and where to get the right dirt to haunt them good.

Pinterest Test

Everyone looking for recipes often ends up on a post on Pinterest called Spooky Cookies. However, not all turn out well. I, myself, had to make some small little adjustments to the recipe to make it work. Working with blog recipes, sometimes seem so easy and too good to be true! It usually is.

Piece of Worm Cake!

Inspired by Hotel Transylvania The Series, my friend Nanye and I decided to undertake the mission to recreate all foods from the beloved franchise.

Piece of Worm Cake!

Yes, from Hotel Transylvania! So, here we go, piece of worm cake!

Hotel Transylvania 3 — Summer Vacation by Sony Pictures Animation

Hotel Transylvania 3 Review by Alexa Wayne

Hotel Transylvania is one of my most beloved franchises for its style and uniqueness.

I liked that the creative team decided to come up with a movie about monsters instead of humans or superheroes.

In a world where everything seems to be the same, Hotel Transylvania dares to be different, well, going from a hotel to a cruise, primarily a hotel, on water.

Let’s do the Hotel Transylvania Summer Vacations Review!

My Obsession

When I first watched Hotel Transylvania, I quickly fell in love with the story even though 3D is not my cup of tea. The characters, the originality and the breath of fresh air the subject brought was fascinating.

Despite my obsession with Vlad The Impaler and Dracula, I was able to look pass that and fall for Mavis and her uncle Frankenstein… then came the series on June 25th, 2017… my jaw dropped.
