The term itself leads to the affliction of physically morphing into a wolf. Of course, it is impossible and linked to the paranormal phenomenon that is a werewolf. However, it is, to this day, still a disorder despite its rarity.

My First Screen Experience

My first dab with the beasts was seeing them on screen, and I have to say as a little kid, I was awestruck by the transformation from human to werewolf. 

The first movie I saw that dealt with was the old white and black, The Wolf Man. You have to remember this was the late 70s so old black and white movies were still showing.

When the Dark Ages ended, slowly, the witch hunt started and it led to werewolf trials too.

The Dark Ages Ended

Back in the late Middle Ages and early Modern period, witches were being hunted down. It didn’t matter if it were true or not. If someone didn’t like their neighbor, they could be accused of witchcraft.

That started the witch trial time period. And like that wasn’t enough, werewolves emerged. And the werewolf trials begun and that is a horror story.
