Come And Read About An Up-Coming Release From Gothic Band, Susurration!

I love the sound of the dark and disturbing. Gothic, pulsating beats that ignite my inner vampire. So, it was a really thrilling delight to be given the chance to review the EBM project, Susurration.

Behind The Name Susurration

The project Susurration, which I must add, has an interesting meaning behind the name of the musical project—Susurration means to whisper. It stands for aggressive, driving EBM beats and melancholic darkwave songs. They always integrate influences from classical music and theatre music.

The last album, ‘Make Love Like War,’ which came out in September 2022, was presented by Orkus and Sonic Seducer and received many discussions on many international scene blogs.

The Merkins Are The Perfect Holiday Boy Band

The Merkins are a musical band dedicated to the horror of all occasions! The holidays rarely rhyme with horror or slasher flicks. But The Merkins somehow make it work.

The Holiday Cheers All Around

“In my life, I’ve done a lot of waiting: Waiting on Halloween to come back around…as I stood in line and did some deep thinking, I realized I could celebrate Halloween all year round.”

— Michael Myers as Forrest Gump

That’s right, Biters. I meant to have this article out for October, but I missed that deadline. But that’s okay because, as goths, we let our Halloween spirit run all year long, including the Winter Solstice / Yule / Christmas.

Gothic Queen Classic Remake Review

It is not the first time that our pop culture expert, James or our favourite Skeleton Hiding In Our Closet do reviews about classic remakes, so, without further due, here’s a new one!

It’s Good To Be Back!

Alright, Biters,

I have something a little different for you. Both friends, family and even coworkers have encouraged me to share about my autism. With that, I have not one but four YouTube cover artists for the price of one.

Biters meet Violet Orlandi, Addie Nicole of Halocene, Audra Miller of First to Eleven, and the GBM return of Lauren Babic. These four ladies are frequent collaborators. So, it’s kind of hard to talk about one without bringing up the others.

Oh! Spoiler! Warning for how the stinger of how the song ends. Since it is why I wanted to share it with you all.

A Duo Covers Like No Other

Gothic Bite Magazine reviews many different subjects and one of them is left to our pop culture specialist, James Vaughan. He loves his indie bands and his favourites are those who do covers of hits in a more rock and metal way!

It’s Been A While

A while back, in my Wolf Totem article, I did a mini review on somebody I’ve been wanting to talk about for ages Pamela Romvel and David Galardi, better known as The Covers Duo.

So, Biters, let’s move these two from the Gothic Bite Magazine opening act to the GBM headliners and take a closer look at The Covers Duo.

“Your Nightmare” by Vampyrëan featuring Chris Pohl Review

I enjoy checking out new music blind to me. Vampyrëan was one I had not heard before.

A Solo Project

Vampyrëan is the solo project from Vlad Janicek, a former member of Nosferatu. That right away got my attention.

I am familiar with Nosferatu and really enjoy their gothic rock-infused music. I then saw that Chris Pohl from Blutengel is featured on the track. That made me even more excited to listen.

C.R.’s Rants and Reviews

Gothic Bite Magazine had the pleasure to work with Chris Taylor on an article. He reviewed the band Somberwind and their new release, which happened back in April 2021.

Give A Warm Welcome

Hello, and welcome to my corner of Gothic Bite Magazine.

This week, I was asked to review some new music by a new band, Somberwind. March of 2021 saw them release the video for their latest track from their album Remain, released through Sleazy Rider Records in April 2021.

The Spell song was released on the primary music streaming services and online stores in April. And what did I think of it?

Testiculo Mutilaciones a Pantansosumpf Review by Mary Dean Kazen

Gothic Bite Magazine loves to give a platform to every type of artist, and that includes musicians. Our reviewers cannot wait to hear what the Gothic world has to sing about, and Mary listened well!

Reaching Out To GBM

Pantanosumpf reached out to Gothic Bite Magazine, introducing themselves as first a supporter of artists in many forms. They are a mixture of artists in Argentina and other parts of the world.

They celebrate and promote all forms of artistic talent and really have created a movement, more like a community, of talented artists. They also have created a record label highlighting local artists.

Happy Friday The 13th Ja—Geoff?

Happy Friday the 13th, everyone! Today is a no-go to a summer camp near a lake or play hockey with a mask! But more than that, today is about a cover song!

It’s Friday The 13th!

Happy Friday, the 13th Biters! I was going to do an article about our favorite hockey-mask-loving-zombie. You know him. You love him…

“His name was Jason and today was his birthday.” Mrs. Voorhees
