A vampire is a being from folklore that subsists by feeding on the vital force of the living. In European folklore, vampires were undead beings that often visited loved ones.

The First Print

Mrs. Blackwood was a novel I wrote to be part of an anthology that sadly never happened. As a result, I decided to repurpose it and publish the novel as my first book. Mainly, I enjoyed the story and thought it to be unique.

Two years before the writing of Mrs. Blackwood, I met Tara M. Clapper, an editor among a few I contacted and her love for the paranormal attracted me. Henceforth, Tara became my editor and worked with me on a few writing projects.

Initially, Tara edited Mrs. Blackwood, and truthfully, I owe her the title. It became my first published novel, my opening to a network filled with fantastic indie authors and bloggers.

She helped me build myself and gave me confidence in my writing. So much, that Mrs. Blackwood is to this day, my best-selling novel.

The Summary

Coralie is a known horror author in a writing retreat. She has a fascination for hauntings and anything paranormal. When walking around her rented property in Raleigh, North Carolina, she meets her muse, vampires.

The morning that followed, Coralie wakes up with a wedding ring around her finger.

Incapable of remembering the events of the night before, she tries to escape the overly luxurious house she’s in as soon as she can only to find out security stopping her.

Vampires, werewolves, and two historical family bloodlines at war, Coralie finds herself caught in the middle. If she cannot pick her side of the war, soon the survival of humankind would hang in the balance.

Coralie is anything but a coward, and so, if humans are to go down, it will be swinging.

One Book 2nd Story

Mrs. Blackwood published a year and a half ago. Consequently, it is still selling today after I gave it a new book cover. However, my writing changed, and my love for the story, although it still drives me to write, needed a face-lift.

Now that I am ready to present to the world, the series I planned for years to publish, Mrs. Blackwood required changes. As a result, not only does the book gets a new more elaborated book cover, but also new ties to the series as an opening to the story of Lord Impaler.

Mrs. Blackwood captivated readers before, and it is about to do it again. It promises a world where vampires are not only real but are in a silent war. Lycanthropes and werewolves are fighting among other creatures that promise a dark and obscure plot.

Only The Beginning

Mrs. Blackwood is only the beginning of a new, crepuscular, Gothic world. Ultimately, this is the world I dreamed of living in where shadows and sunlight coexist and brings out the most colorful life possible.

Ever since I was a child, the drama was part of my life. I studied acting for fourteen years as well as sang and danced.

All forms of art played a big part in raising me to become the woman I am today. It was no surprise to me that a part of me wanted to share a dream I want to believe in where those we call monsters are real.
