Like a lot of people in recent years, I have been taken in by shows like Stranger Things and most recently The Haunting of Hill House.
Dark is another show along that spectrum that I recently found and watched on Netflix.
The Question Is Not Where
The premise is this Children start disappearing from the fictional German town of Winden, bringing to light the fractured relationships, double lives, and dark past of four families living there, and revealing a mystery that spans three generations.

The series follows several members of the town as they struggle with things from suicide to missing family members in a growing mystery in which everyone’s secrets are up for grabs and no stone will be left unturned.
But When
The story begins in 2019 but spreads to include storylines in 1986 and 1953 via time travel, as certain characters of the show’s core families begin to realize something strange going on in their town.

During the first season, lives change as the plot thickens and you learn that not everything you see is what is really going on.
Summary
This is definitely a series where you cannot close your eyes. Like the above mentioned series, this one tells a story and they want you to listen as they put the pieces together. It is worth a watch; my family enjoyed it quite a bit and was sad when the first season was over.
Netflix has picked the series up after the testing phase for a second season. The first season, which consists of ten episodes, is currently available.

No word just yet on when the second season is expected to hit but word is that it is currently in production. Readers this one hits a lot of levels and is truly a joy to watch. If you get a chance I would say to check it out on Netflix while it is available. You will not regret it, although you may not want to watch it in the dark.
