The original film in this franchise released in 2007 and quickly became a cult hit.
The follow-ups to the original quickly launched until 2015, leaving a massive story that spans six films.
The Summary
After a young, middle class couple moves into a suburban ‘starter’ tract house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be somehow demonic but is certainly most active in the middle of the night. Especially when they sleep. Or try to. — Written by Paramount, IMDb
Paranormal Impressions
Let me be the first to say that initially, I didn’t care for the Paranormal Activity series, at least until the second and third films. My wife and I decided to watch the third movie of the franchise because at the time I didn’t bother to watch them.

We enjoyed our evening of movies, but I didn’t care for the beginning. Then I got to see the story unfold in the next two films. The sequel meant to be as such while the third, is the prequel to the first Paranormal Activity.
As the rest of the series came out, we sat down and watched as their stories played out, showing us new things, new aspects of the story we did not know before. It was excellent and delightful to enjoy.
Watch The Series
While I could sit here and tell you about each story, or how each movie connects to the other, I’m not going to. The best advice would be to be alone or with your favorite movie buddy or significant and watch these flicks.

It’s very much worth your time to do so; all of them were excellent movies with quite a story to tell. It is arguably the best paranormal series to watch in the current generation of horror films.
Now I admit there are quite many good paranormal flicks around now, but this story makes it a monster to overcome. Sit down, relax and become very afraid. The noises you hear in your home in the dead of the night might scare you as of now.
