Anytime that my Blobette and I plot out a makeup, I always start the same way. I ask her, are we doing a beauty makeup or do you want to be scary? Nine times out of ten this little Blobette of mine wants to be scary and that was where we started this time.
This month’s monster was the Mad Scientist; I really wanted to play with a Jacob’s ladder but settled for this cool trick instead.

What you need for Glowing Vials
Glow sticks in the color of your choice, these can be found anywhere but can even be bought at a dollar store.

Little glass bottles, again these can be found at dollar stores. For our specific set I had little bottles of Jägermeister left over from a recent party that I saved and cleaned. It can honestly be that easy.
Directions
1. Break the glo sticks as you normally would to use them, but carefully clip the ends.
2. Pour their guts into the vials.
3. It takes about 4 small sticks to get enough.
4. Replace the cap and throw away in the trash.
5. Keep reading. 😉
The idea my blobette and I had was to have her look beautiful until she would remove this medical mask and go from gorgeous to bloody monstrous. To achieve a scary look for the mask, all I did was spray it with fake blood that we made.
Fake Blood
There are several ways to make it, this was what we used.
1. Karo syrup.
2. Red food dye.

The Disfiguration
To create the disfigured illusion we used Liquid Latex and torn up tissues, but you can use paper towels or even cotton balls. Usually for this it is a personal preference and depends on what you want to achieve.

From there while we let the latex dry, my Blobette went to do the mascara and eyeliner and I set up all the colors to blend for the muscle and skin under the blood.

We really enjoyed this month’s makeup and I hope you enjoy the final product readers.
Next month’s makeup stands to be pretty shocking too!
Looking forward to it!
Inkstress and Blobette!
